Le Plateau by Anthony Jamous makes customized cheese boards. This page explains, in plain words, what information we keep when you use our website and why.

Ordering without an account

When you order as a guest, the details you type in the order form are not stored on our website. They are placed into a WhatsApp message on your phone, and you choose whether to send it.

If you create an account

An account is optional. If you create one, we keep:

• Your name and email address, and your profile photo if you sign in with Google.
• Your phone number, only if you add it in "My details".
• Your delivery address, if you add it or use delivery, so it can be filled in next time.
• The orders you send from the website (order number, board style, size, occasion, date, delivery or pickup, guests, chosen items, notes and the WhatsApp message text), so you can follow their status in "My orders" and order again.

Anthony, the owner of Le Plateau, can see the orders you send so he can confirm and prepare them, and marks each one as confirmed, completed or cancelled.

We never see or store your Google password. If you sign in with email, your password is handled by our secure sign-in provider, never by us.

Why we use it

• To sign you in and keep you signed in on your device.
• To fill in your details and show your past orders.
• To apply any welcome offer to your first order.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Account information is stored with Google Firebase, a secure service run by Google. Orders themselves are confirmed with you on WhatsApp.

Your choices

• You can change your name and phone anytime in "My details".
• You can delete your account in "My details". This removes your account, details and order history.
• You can cancel an order from "My orders" while it is still waiting for confirmation.
